NOVEMBER PROGRAM: FAIRYTALE ADVENTURES

 

Join Nanny Boppins throughout November at the weekly Tuesday Minitown sessions for four weeks of Fairytale Fantasies. A week of Dinosaurs, Royal Princes and Princesses with sparkle and glamour followed by Pirate adventures and Fairies and Elves.


Tuesday 4th November

Dinosaur Roar

Stomp your way into Minitown this Tuesday for a full hour of Dinosaur Fun! Munch, crunch and stomp your way through the jungle on the Dino hunt, enjoy a story, dinosaur craft activity and musical fun with Nanny Boppins and friends, 10-11am.



Tuesday 11th November

The Royal Ball

Nanny Boppins will be sparkling this week with Prince, Princesses and Royal Kingdom glamour. Fairytale Princess trivia, royal craft, story and fun will be a part of this week’s session as Nanny Boppins prepares for the Royal Ball!


Tuesday 18th November

Pirate Adventures

Arrhhh me hearties! Join Nanny Boppins as we walk the plank, swim through shark infested waters and find our way to the gold treasure all in a fun filled hour of inspired play.


Tuesday 25th November

Fairies and Elves

A magical session this morning for all of our little fairies and elves. Make your own foam doll Fairies and Elves at the craft table, use your elf skills to build something out of building blocks and learn the fairy ballet dance with Nanny Boppins.

Tuesday 2nd December

Welcome Summer

Nanny Boppins will be welcoming in the first week of Summer this week. Join her on Tuesday morning, 10-11am for an hour of music, story, craft and activities as we celebrate everything we love to do in the season of Summer, including lots of seaside style activities! And be sure to put next Tuesday in your diaries as our final, Christmas Minitown session for the year.


Tuesday 9th December

Christmas Special

Tis’ the season to be joyful, happy and bright, and Nanny Boppins will be kicking up her heels to bring the children and their parents a fun-filled Christmas Minitown session this week. Join in the Christmas singing, craft workshop and Christmas story to end the year of Minitown sessions on a Merry Christmas high note.

Join us for a very special NAIDOC WEEK Mini session with Uncle Perry! On Wednesday 5th July, Uncle Perry will be sharing his cultural heritage with our minis for a very special NAIDOC WEEK celebration. Enjoy a craft session afterwards. During the mini session Uncle Perry will; Play Traditional and contemporary solo didgeridoo sounds and rhythms. demonstrate how we make animal sounds, rhythms and beats by using Aboriginal language while playing didgeridoo Traditional name ( Yidaki ) Educate where the didgeridoo originates from, Arnhem Land. What the didgeridoo is used for, what it is made of. Introduce Traditional dance moves and encourage participation from children as they learn a dance called SPECIAL LAND Perry Fuller is from Kamilaroi Country (Coonabarabran). He is an accomplished didgeridoo (yidaki) player who has been playing for over 10 years. Perry is very active in NAIDOC festivities in Newcastle and surrounding schools.
